Situated in Hall County, Doniphan is located two miles south of the Platte River. Doniphan is served by
U.S. Highway 281 and is three miles south of Interstate 80. Doniphan is 11 miles south of Grand Island,
Nebraska (population 39,386); 12 miles north of Hastings, Nebraska (population 22,837); 150 miles west of
Omaha, Nebraska; 415 miles east of Denver, Colorado; and 91 short miles west of Big Red Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska.
