The purpose of my office is to support the coordination of emergency services and resources in and around Doniphan, Nebraska to ensure public safety 24 hours a day. This includes a coordinated effort of preparedness, response and recovery activities to meet the threats posed by all natural and man-made hazards within and around our wonderful city. I believe a major element of preparedness is education and it is this office's goal to continually offer educational opportunities for Doniphan residents. This website is just a small portion of that effort. Emergency Management is not a replacement for police, fire, EMS, Red Cross, and other important community functions. Rather it is a system for coordinating and managing the multiple services when all are responding to a community/county threat.
